Reef Encounter is a superbly appointed 35-metre luxury catamaran. Each of our 21 spacious staterooms offer private bathroom facilities, teak furniture and air-conditioning. King, double and twin rooms are available to suit your requirements.

ITINERARY:

Day one:

Guests arrive onboard Reef Encounter by 30-minute scenic helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef.Guests are welcomed on board by the Reef Encounter crew and shown to their rooms where they can choose to freshen up or relax.Mid morning Dive / Snorkel - The Great Barrier Reef is an outstanding venue for your guests and they will be truly amazed at the ever-changing beauty that exists under the sea.

Lunch - In the comfort of our fully air-conditioned dining room enjoy the best seafood Australia has to offer.Mid Afternoon Siesta, sunbake, dive or snorkel - The Great Barrier Reef will provide the backdrop for you to lay back and relax or get right into the picture and surround yourself with fish of every colour.

Dinner - 3 courses of Superb Australian Cuisine complimented by magnificent Australian Wines.Your choice - to kick back and enjoy the ambience of the moon rising straight out of the ocean, sip champagne in our spa or be exhilarated by a night dive.

Day two:

Continental and Hot Breakfasts will be served in our air-conditioned saloon.This can be after you have watched the ocean come alive by a breathtaking early morning dive, or if you prefer you can sleep in and enjoy breakfast in bed at your leisure.Fishing Charters can be arranged with one of Cairns luxurious game fishing boats picking you up for the day from Reef Encounter.On offer are:Heavy Tackle / Marlin Fishing. Light Tackle / Game Fishing. Reef Fishing / Bottom Fishing. Jigging and Popper casting.

Or choose to relax in a deck chair and work on your tan, snorkel, or scuba dive.Lunch â€" Grilled Reef Fish with Asian Stir fried Scallops and Vegetables.Visit a sand cay, snorkel and relax.

Dinner - Our Crew onboard Reef Encounter will be delighted to theme this event for you, with fairy lights surrounding the open top deck. The tables will be exquisitely set with crisp white linen table cloths and napkins, candles will complete the picture as you enjoy a amazing three course meal complimented with magnificent Australian Wines.Catch a movie in Reef Encounters saloon area or take in the ambience of being surrounded by a trillion stars all twinkling down at you.

Day three:

Breakfast - Continental and hot buffet breakfasts served in our dining room.

Scuba Dive, Snorkel or try your hand at some bottom fishing onboard our tender.Lunch - Tropical BBQ Lunch onboard Reef Encounter themed of course with thatched umbrellas, banana leaves, Fresh Fruit Cocktails, and deck chairs.

Day four:

Early morning DiveBreakfastDepart via Helicopter to Cairns Airport where you will be transferred to meet your connecting flights.Our onboard Videographer can capture your Great Barrier Reef Expedition so you can take your fabulous underwater adventure home on video.
