The Vine - Madeira

The interior design of The Vine has been masterfully created by the Internationally acclaimed  Madeiran Designer, Nini Andrade Silva. Nini drew her inspiration from the centuries of wine production on the island together with the influence of each season. Born in Funchal in 1964 and trained in Design at Lisbon’s Institude of Art and Design (IADE), Nini Andrade Silva has worked in New York, London and Paris and now actually lives between Lisbon and Funchal where she has two studios.With The Vine, Nini has added to her growing collection of awards. At the 2009 European Property Awards she received ‘Best Hotel Interior Design’ and shortly after received the award for ‘Best Suites’ at the 2009 European Hotel Design Awards. In 2009, The Vine was also runner-up in both the World Architecture Festival and the International Property Awards for ‘Best Interiors and Fit Out’ and Hotel Interior Design, respectively.
